Privacy Notice
Ashbloom is a small, independent text roleplaying game run by Everkind. This page explains what we collect, why we use it, who can see it, how AI is involved, and what you can ask us to do. You can read it without an account.
Other players see what you write in the rooms and channels you share with them.
Everkind, its admins and hosting providers can technically access almost everything, including logs. That does not mean someone is routinely reading it.
AI systems process your play extensively - to run NPCs, remember your character, operate game features, and help us develop, moderate and understand the game.
Ashbloom is not a place for real-world secrets or sensitive personal information. Please keep those out of the game.
Ashbloom is for adults. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18.
We do not ask for your date of birth. If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18, we remove it.
We do not ask for your real name, date of birth, payment details or precise location.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
Other players. Speech, emotes and narration are visible to everyone in the same room. Out-of-character chat is visible to players in that room, and global chat is visible to everyone online.
Whispers are a style of speech, not a private channel.
Players can save or share scenes, including as images. We cannot control what another person does with content they have already seen or saved.
Everkind and admins. Admins can access account details, including email and IP addresses, activity logs containing the full text of game activity, reports, moderation information and what NPCs remember about characters.
Out-of-character chat is not stored in our game database.
Nobody reads all of this as a matter of course. Admins access it when needed for moderation, troubleshooting, security, development or understanding how the game is being used.
Staff helpers and moderators. Some trusted players are given a staff role to help with roleplay and moderation. They can see which characters are online, which room each one is in, whether they are active or idle, and who is looking for roleplay. Helpers are not shown which private room someone is in, only that they are in private quarters; moderators are. Staff cannot see accounts, emails, IP addresses, activity logs, reports or what NPCs remember, and they have no access to the admin tools.
Hosting providers. Our hosting providers store data on our behalf and may keep their own technical logs and backups.
AI systems. If information is part of the game, you should assume an AI system may process it where relevant to a game or administrative feature.
AI is a core part of Ashbloom and of how the game is developed and operated. AI use is not limited to messages directly addressed to an NPC.
Depending on the feature being used, AI systems may process:
AI systems may generate NPC replies, summaries, memories, moderation signals and other information used by the game.
Some AI-generated information becomes part of stored game state. NPC memory is one example. That information may be used again in later play.
Your account and your characters are kept separate.
Your email address and account username are not provided to AI systems when generating NPC replies.
Adult and intimate content may also be processed by AI.
Different AI services may be used for different features or types of content. Some providers apply their own content rules, so an NPC may decline a request or a response may be refused.
Adult content is subject to the same privacy rules described in this notice.
Third-party AI model providers process information on our behalf. Some are located outside the EU.
Where we can control whether Ashbloom player data is used for optional general model training or improvement, we turn that use off.
AI providers may also retain or process information according to the terms of the service we use.
Authorised staff may use AI tools when moderating reports, investigating technical problems, analysing how features are being used or improving the service.
This may involve processing relevant player data.
Players create their own characters and write their own content.
That content may include adult, violent or dark themes. Public areas are kept safe-for-work. Adult content belongs in private rooms and designated adult areas.
Nobody reviews content before it is posted.
Content may be reported, automatically flagged or reviewed by staff, including with AI assistance.
You are responsible for what you post. The Rules explain what is and is not allowed.
Game activity is logged. This includes the full text of speech, emotes and narration, as well as movement, logins and other relevant activity.
Admins may review logs and game content when moderating, investigating abuse, troubleshooting technical problems or understanding how the game is being used. AI tools may assist with this work.
Out-of-character chat is not exempt from moderation even though it is not stored in our game database.
Warnings, reports and bans are moderation records. Some moderation information may be kept after an account is deleted where necessary to enforce bans or protect the service.
We process personal data for the following purposes and legal bases:
If we rely on your consent for a particular type of processing, we will tell you when we ask for that consent. You can withdraw it later.
You can delete your account yourself from Settings - Privacy / Data by confirming your password.
You can also email everkind.interactive@gmail.com from the email address connected to your account and ask us to delete it.
Characters and individual messages cannot currently be deleted separately.
You can edit your own recent messages for a short time after sending them. Editing a message does not necessarily change copies that have already been recorded in logs or seen or saved by other players.
Deleting your account removes the account itself, your characters, their belongings and NPC memories associated with those characters.
Some information may remain:
Ashbloom is an early-stage service. It may change or shut down, and game data may sometimes be removed as part of operating or developing the service.
Ashbloom relies on third-party services to operate. These may include:
Some providers are located outside the EU, including in the United States.
Where required, international transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the provider's standard contractual clauses or another legally recognised transfer mechanism.
We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising.
Depending on the circumstances and the legal basis for the processing, you may have the right to:
To make a privacy request, email everkind.interactive@gmail.com from the email address connected to your account. We aim to respond within one month.
You also have the right to complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection - Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).
Passwords are hashed, connections are encrypted, and access to administrative tools is limited to authorised people who operate Ashbloom.
We use reasonable security measures for a small independent service, but no system can guarantee complete security.
If a personal-data breach occurs, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities where required by law.
The date below is updated when this notice changes.
Changes that materially affect your privacy - for example, a significant new way in which AI processes player information - will be announced on the login screen for a period.
Ashbloom is operated as Everkind by Romi Olive, a private individual based in Sweden. Privacy contact: everkind.interactive@gmail.com
